How SIP Works, Calculation Formula & Regulatory Conditions

SIP Future Value Formula
M = P × [ { (1 + i)^n - 1 } / i ] × (1 + i)
M = Future Value (Corpus Amount)

The total accumulated wealth at the end of tenure.

P = Monthly Investment Amount

Fixed monthly installment (e.g. ₹10,000).

i = Monthly Rate of Return

Annual expected return divided by 12 (12% / 12 = 1.00%).

n = Total Monthly Installments

Tenure in years × 12 (10 Years × 12 = 120 Months).
